REGISTER FOR AN UPCOMING CLASS
This course is meant for contractors who perform deleading work for a living. To enroll in this class you must already be certified as a MA Lead Safe Renovator – Supervisor (LSR-S). If you are not certified, and need to attend the MA LSR-S course, please click here.
If you are a property owner who intends to delead your own home or rental property, you must complete and pass the Child Lead Poisoning and Prevention Program (CLPP) exam. Their 8-hour class will allow you to work on your own property, but will NOT certify you as a LSR-S. Property owners are always welcome to take Leadsmart’s Moderate Risk course after passing our MA LSR-S course.
What this course entails:
This Four Hour class covers all the required topics moving from Renovation and into the Moderate Risk certification of Deleading.

- How to read Lead Inspection Reports
- Work Practices
- Cleaning & Clearing Procedures
- Recordkeeping

Cost: $195
You will be required to produce a copy of your Massachusetts LSR-S certificate at day of class. NO MODERATE RISK CERTIFICATE WILL BE ISSUED TO YOU WITHOUT PROOF OF YOUR LSR-S CERTIFICATE.
If you were originally trained by LeadSMART, life is simple. We already have your certificate on file, just tell us the year and location and we can look up your number for you.
These classes are taught in English. Each student participating in these classes must be proficient in English to be able to comprehend the training and have the ability to complete the written test in English. Private classes can be taught specifically in Spanish or Portuguese if needed. Please contact us for a quote for your crew.
