CLASS CANCELLATION POLICIES
Student Changes & Cancellations
COVID Update – Should you have reason to NOT attend a class you are scheduled for, please remember to call our office before midnight the night before the class and leave a message. We will waive any administration fee during this time due to COVID-19 provided the class is rescheduled. If you do not reschedule please see our cancellation policy.
Should you need to make a change or cancel, a written notice must be given at least five (5) business days in advance or you will be subject to a 25% administration fee. You have up to 90 days after the class you had registered for and missed to request a refund or reschedule to another class. Otherwise, you will have forfeited your registration fee beyond the 90 day period.
LeadSMART Training Solutions reserves the right to withhold a refund if written notice is not given at least five (5) business days in advance. Attendee substitutions are permitted and must be emails to firstname.lastname@example.org to be processed.
In the event that LeadSMART Training Solutions cancels a class, you will be notified 48 hours before the schedule class and either a 100% refund will be issued or attendees can choose to apply their registration fees to another LeadSMART Training Solutions class.

Low Class Size Cancellation
LeadSMART Training Solutions will make every attempt to hold classes. In the event of low class registration, students will be notified of the cancellation and offered a different class date once the cancellation decision has been reached, generally 2 to 3 business days prior to the class date.
Weather-Related Class Cancellation
LeadSMART Training Solutions will make every attempt to hold classes. In the event of inclement weather, the safety of our clients and employee trainers is paramount. The decision to cancel a confirmed class due to weather will be made no later than 4:00 p.m. the day prior to the class. If the class is cancelled, students will be notified as the decision to cancel is reached. Class rescheduling will be handled within 1 to 2 business days (dependent on weather) of the cancelled class date.
Weather-related class scheduling changes will be posted on the LeadSMART website as soon as the decision is made.
RRP / LSR Refresher Class Requirements
By law, we cannot issue a refresher certificate without students proving that they are who they say they are and that they are eligible for the refresher class. To meet this requirement, we require students to provide the following: A copy of their original EPA Certified Renovator or Massachusetts Lead Safe Renovator certificate and show a current driver’s license or other government issued, photo ID.
An additional requirement for online students is a current “headshot” photograph of the student, without glasses or any type of headgear.
By registering for a LeadSMART Training Solutions class, you are subscribing to LeadSMART Training Solutions email notifications to include class notifications and blog postings. Your email address is required to receive regular LeadSMART Training Solutions communication and it will be used solely for the purpose of distributing email directly related to LeadSMART Training Solutions news and updates. Your email address will not be given or sold to any third party unless otherwise required by State or Federal law. HOW WE WORK
We work hard to schedule classes throughout New England each month. If we receive a minimum number of registrations, we are able to confirm and hold the class. At this point, we sign a contract with the venue, schedule a trainer, and make a commitment to all parties including you, our clients. As a result, we cannot allow last minute changes, cancellations or no-shows.
If we have to cancel a class due to low registration, we will do our very best to find you acceptable alternatives. If this cannot be done to your satisfaction, you are entitled to a full refund.
