Learn everything you need to know to comply with the Lead Paint Certification EPA Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Rule in CT, ME, MA, NH and RI. In just one day, you will get information you need from a contractor-instructor who knows what it’s like to be in your shoes.
We are licensed to train the federal EPA course required throughout New England. If you work in a state that requires additional lead paint training – MA and RI – LeadSMART has you covered. Register for a class in MA or RI and you will receive all training required for your state’s version of the RRP law.
Upon successful completion of this 8-hour class, attendees will be issued one of the following:
- EPA Certified Renovator certificate (in CT, ME, NH)
- MA Lead Safe Renovator-Supervisor certificate
- RI Lead Renovator certificate
NEW YORK CONTRACTORS: Classes taught in Connecticut are applicable to New York. To register for an upcoming RRP class, view our schedule and choose the location and date most convenient for you.
MA CSL (Contractor Supervisor License) Holders: Our RRP class in MA will get you 8 CEU credits covering 3 of the 5 mandatory and 1 elective categories you need for license renewal. They are Workplace Safety (2,) Business Practice (1), Lead Safety (2), and Electives (3).

These RRP/LSR classes are taught in English. Each student participating in these classes must be proficient in English to be able to comprehend the training and have the ability to complete the written test in English. Private classes can be taught specifically in Spanish or Portuguese if needed. Please contact us for a quote for your crew.
