Renovation Level
IF you are confused as to what level of training you need, you most likely belong here.
Provides essential training for safely handling lead-based paint during renovation projects. The course covers lead-safe work practices, regulatory requirements, and techniques for minimizing lead dust and contamination, ensuring that renovation activities comply with state and federal lead safety standards.
There is no difference in training/certification from Supervisor or Worker as they are both the same at Renovation Level.
Moderate Risk Deleading
Focuses on managing lead hazards in moderate-risk environments, such as homes with less extensive lead contamination. This course includes training on safe work practices, regulatory guidelines, and effective methods for lead removal and control, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
High Risk Deleading
Provides in-depth training on managing and removing lead hazards in high-risk environments, such as properties built before 1978 with significant lead exposure. This course covers regulatory requirements, advanced lead abatement techniques, safety protocols, and effective project management to ensure compliance with state and federal standards.
These classes are available at the Initial level for both Supervisors and Workers.
