Connecticut Renovation Level CR (Certified Renovator)
The EPA RRP course focuses on lead-safe practices for renovation projects in properties with lead paint. Participants learn methods for minimizing lead dust and contamination during renovations, proper safety protocols, and regulatory requirements to ensure a clean and compliant work environment.
Certified Renovators are trained to work on materials which contain lead safely but are not hired to remove lead hazards as their primary intention of work.
This course is designed for contractors who work in homes that were built before 1978 and could contain lead based products.
These classes are available at the Initial level in a live class as well as at a Refresher level which offers live and online classes.
Initial Class – 8 Hours – Expires After 5 Years
Refresher Class – Live – 4 Hours – Expires After 5 Years
EPA RRP Refresher Class – Virtual – 4 Hours – Expires After 3 Years
MA LSR/RRP Refresher Class – Virtual – 4 Hours – Expires After 3 Years

WHAT STUDENTS ARE SAYING…
“Peter is an excellent instructor. I’ve been in the business 50 years, so normally during my two yearly excursions, it’s 6 hours of counting the ceiling tiles, but Peter held my attention for the entire time. He is very knowledgeable and I learned things I didn’t know before. Never too old to learn! Keep up the good work and great job.”
The instructor was extremely knowledgeable of the Massachusetts and EPA guidelines. Not only did we learn how to use our books, fill out paperwork, watch videos, we also had some in class training on how to properly set up our job sites. I highly recommend this training to anyone who is looking to get lead certified.”
