LeadSMART Training Solutions provides live, hands-on training for contractors and tradespeople throughout New England — including MA CSL/CEU classes, EPA RRP & MA Lead-Safe Renovator (LSR) certifications, Massachusetts Deleading (Moderate & High Risk), and OSHA Construction Safety courses. Our classes are taught by experienced tradesmen, for contractors — and we’re looking for the right person to join that team.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver engaging, practical classroom training to adult learners — licensed contractors, supervisors, and tradespeople
  • Teach courses such as MA CSL renewal/CEUs, EPA RRP/LSR Lead Paint certification, MA Deleading (Moderate & High Risk), and OSHA Construction Safety topics
  • Travel to training locations across New England, primarily Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut
  • Represent LeadSMART professionally on-site, creating a positive and credible learning experience for every class

What We’re Looking For

  • Field experience in residential construction is a major plus — candidates who’ve actually worked the trades bring credibility and real-world examples that resonate with contractors
  • Experience with lead paint work — especially Lead Abatement or MA Deleading — is a major plus
  • A sharp, articulate communicator who can hold the attention of a room full of working contractors and make technical/regulatory material clear and relevant
  • Comfortable with public speaking and adult education; prior teaching, training, or toolbox-talk experience is helpful but not required
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout MA, RI, and CT (occasional travel elsewhere in New England)
  • Reliable personal transportation

  • Schedule: Part-time / per diem to start, based on class assignments
  • Growth path: Potential to grow into a full-time role with benefits for the right candidate
  • Location: Field-based — classes held at various sites throughout New England
