For those of you who remember, the EPA RRP Rule went into effect 4/22/10. Folks who got their Certified Renovator certification early in the process had their renewal deadline extended until March 31, 2016.

That’s next weeks, folks!

If you miss your deadline, your certificate is not valid although you have up to one year to renew without having to take the initial, 8-hour course again. Remember, you can’t work on lead jobs with an expired certificate.

If you’re really not paying attention and miss that year renewal deadline, then you have to start all over again and take the 8-hour initial course.

Feeling the panic yet? Don’t! Click here to view our class schedule and register for a refresher course.

And before I forget… this applies just to individuals. There is no grace period for firm certifications/licenses. Make sure you stay up to date so you stay legal.

Now for our regularly scheduled reminder…
